Nicholas Stark is a student at William Horlick Highschool.  He is 18 and a new voter.  His hot-button issue is the jobs being shipped overseas.  It has affected his family deeply; his father, his grandfather, and his uncles have lost jobs to overseas workers, and Nicholas believes the economy as a whole suffers.  He is also concerned about higher education; it might not seem financially feasible in the short term, he says, but in the long term you can't afford not to.

He thinks it's cool that he finally gets to vote, and he made up his mind early in the campaign who he was going to vote for.  He watches the debates, but doesn't think much new is being said at this point.

Nicholas encourages other young people to vote: "It's worth your time.  You should vote."
