Hemming is a 19-year-old resident of Milwaukee, WI. He went to
vote around lunchtime and did not experience any long lines or problems
voting.
He says that there are a lot of people
his age who are very excited about voting, but that he is disheartened
by certain friends who are not voting this year. He says that they are
not voting because they do not know enough about the candidates or the
issues.
When asked why he’s voting, Hemming
talks about the issues that matter to him. “Social issues, the economy,
the Iraq war, the way things have been running – it’s not working too
well anymore,” he says.
