Thorns is a 52-year-old voter in Gary, Indiana. A dedicated voter,
Thorns comes from a politically-engaged family. He took his elderly
mother to vote early at eight in the morning the day before Election
Day.
Thorns has observed that his local community is more enthused than ever about voting.
“People
are going to cast that vote,” Thorns says. “You’re going to see people
pushing old people in a wheelchair, you’re going to see them coming on
their canes. They will vote.” He also asserts that young people are
voting in his community.
